THE QUEST OF ANVIL O'MALLEY

ROSEBUD Magazine, a prestigious literary magazine published in Cambridge, Wisconsin, has published a short story entitled The Trade Off in their summer edition 2008. The story features the same characters who were in Campbell's earlier short story called Breaking into Print. A third story entitled "Sublimation" follows which is unpublished at this time. Campbell has put together a 40 page chapbook combining all three short stories.

The trilogy is called "The Quest of Anvil O'Malley" by George, and "by George" is a take-off on the fact that the main character, George Schopene, narrates each of the stories. Anvil O'Malley is his poetic muse whose name he uses in writing his poetry.
